Public transportation in Seoul
Generally speaking, in Seoul there are three kinds of buses, which are city buses, airport shuttles, and local shuttle buses (ma-eul buses).
City buses are divided into general buses and seat buses. Ma-eul buses run within a short distance area where city buses can't cover. Also there are city tour buses that go around the major tourist sports of Seoul. As for the Seoul subway system, lines 1 to 8 are running presently and line 9 is under construction. The Seoul subway line is connected to the Incheon line and Bundang line. If you see a Taekeuk mark in a subway station, it means you can transter to other lines there.
