The followings are the most common Korean foods you can see in Korean restaurants.
- Jjigae : jjigae is stew cooked with beef, vegetable, or clams, seasoned with soy sauce, soybean sauce, hot pepper sauce, or salted shrimp. There are various types of stews as doenjangijigae, sundubu jjigae and kimchijjigae.
- Bulgogi : thin slices of beef marinated in soy sauce, garlic, onions, sesame oil, sugar, etc. and barbecued. To make the beef soft, crushed pear juice or rice wine can be used.
- Samgyeopsal : sliced bacon is most popular as an appetizer with wines because it's cheaper and softer than beef.
